Free and Fireproof are two words that don't exist.

 

Hope I remembered to pack my swim trunks this morning,

 

I think I'd have to pass on that trailer. I'd never be able to crawl under it without looking for a snake...lol

 

Got my usual. Served by an absolutely beautiful young waitress. And she knows it. Big smile, strides when she walks. She brings A1 and 57

“Would you like any sauce?”

Mustard.

(Ever so slightly, she turns her nose up.)

You disapprove. (Not a question.)

(Alarmed, she snapped back to attention.) “No sir, I don’t disapprove.”

Yes you do. (She unconsciously makes herself small. Chin tucked, shoulders hunched, arms crossed. Confidence fleeing.)

No worries. You are entitled to your opinions.

“May I ask what the mustard is for?”

The tomatoes.

“I don’t like tomatoes.”

I don’t either.

“But you are eating them…?”

Less carbs and calories than potatoes.

“I have never tried them with mustard…
…Was I really THAT obvious?”

(Had to laugh. BTW, it is incredibly difficult to get scrambled eggs. Those are fried eggs. Fried eggs are ALWAYS overcooked and chewy.)

 

Carbs and calories are the fuel of those who do physical work.

 

Too much fuel is bad for performance.

 

Captain Brad brought me some homemade coffee this morning. Sitting here watching the sunrise behind us, staring at Canada, eh, and watching the locals come and go.



And don’t knock the windows, I must’ve smacked every bug between Findlay and St Ignace Michigan.

This one night of running
