What about the lost revenue?
-
That is hard to prove, nobody pays for that usuallyConstant Learner Thanks this.
-
How did they don't that? "Here tree tree tree"
-
It's the same as if your truck breaks down and factory stops for some time, they can bill you for the lost revenue. That's why I don't sign brokers contracts, that have something like " consequential damages" words in them.
My friend has a dedicated drop and hook line with Ford and had to pay $22k fine, because his driver was 8hrs late to the delivery appointment due to a breakdown. They charged him for "factory shutdown".
That's how it works in real life. -
Yep, Just In Time pays well, but it also charges if you fail, too. Hauled for a local almost 2 years ago for Chrysler plant, and that was one of the stipulations. On the other hand, once you're there, they take their time unloading you because they only feed the line as it needs it and if they're cut back on production, you get to wait, which is why they pay well....for your sitting time.Vitkouski, Magoo1968, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this.
