I am actually really happy with the company for the most part but I am really not happy at all with the truck(s) that they have available for me to drive. The issues with the trucks have caused me to develop concerns with my health and there is really no solution as far as correcting the issues with the trucks, quite literally they just need to get new replacement trucks but it is taking forever for that to happen. So I don't see it as being potentially worth it to stick around and further jeopardize my health hoping that maybe someday when and if I get a new truck the health issues will go away.

What's going on with the trucks that are health hazards? Are they super old trucks?
-
Older trucks with high mileage and worn out components like suspension as well as a steering wheel shaking issue that is inherent with this generation of Kenworth trucks that no one seems to be able to fix or at least it appears that it could be any one of say 20 different things that it could be but so far the only willingness on the part of the company is to do an alignment and say that it's all good when it's not.
What comes down to is that I'm having chronic pain in my knees as well as from my fingers all the way up to my shoulders and chest throughout my arms every single day. Not to mention internal pain in my chest in my heart area, I already have issues with my heart. The trucks ride incredibly rough and are very unstable on the road, especially when they hit bumps.
The company has had so many problems with Kenworth that they stopped buying them and moved to ordering international LT trucks. The thing is that they did this with Freightliner then moved to Volvo then moved to Kenworth and now these pigeonholed themselves into getting internationals. The probability that they are going to have issues with international is extremely high in my opinion but then where do they go as far as getting trucks that they do not have issues with? I personally think every single brand of emissions trucks are junk. Like I've said in another thread as a driver I would like to go with what is best for me which is Volvo and just deal with the headaches because you're going to have them no matter what you choose.bryan21384 Thanks this. -
I ended up taking my 30 at that Walmart. Thank you for the tip.
I got my new job details this morning. They have me picking up from Lineage/Cold storage. Is that the ice cream ypu were talking about? All it says is refrigerated food with a temp of 34.
Shipment details says there is a lot of parking there. Does that mean overnight? It would be nice if it is otherwise I'll have to pay for reserved at this Phillips 66 in LongmontPeace_Maker and bryan21384 Thank this. -

Make sure your trailer is pre chilled to 34* or heading in that direction when you get there. They check your temp at the gate and won’t load you til you’re at it. If you start from scratch and it’s hot that’s a lot of defrost cycles to sit thru to make temp.Thrasher28 and DreadfulDay Thank this.

Should I set it to that as soon as I get empty tonight? My appt is 10am tomorrowmotocross25 and Thrasher28 Thank this.
