Those are some well broken in trucks there lol. How come you think the Internationals are going to be problematic? I've never driven the new LT ones. I had a Pro Star with another company, back when they had the MaxxForce engine. That was a bit of a nightmare, but I had to baby it to make it work. I do think that Volvos are the best trucks on the market. I've never driven a KW or Western Star though.

Is that in Henderson, CO? Or in Aurora? Yeah that's for overnight parking probably. Once you get empty, it's always best to precool for the next load. That way you won't run into a delay getting loaded.Thrasher28 and DreadfulDay Thank this.

I got off to a slow start today. The dash was acting up. Nothing lit up so I had to unhook the battery. The customer in O'Fallon took me a day early and that was a bit of a tight back. The Woody Bogler driver got in his dock crooked so that threw me off. I've Chinese for Houston on Thursday.

Henderson. I called them and they told me no overnight parking. I've been precooling it like you said but that was just to drive to the next shipper. This one's a bit different because it's a 13hr continuous 34f, I wasn't sure if climate would want me doing it that long, wasting fuel.Thrasher28 Thanks this.

Oh I've been to Henderson. I've spent the night there too. There's a PFG in that same lot. If you go into the entrance, there's parking to the right. Where ever there's an open space, that's where you can go. That place sticks to appointments pretty hard if I remember right.Peace_Maker and DreadfulDay Thank this.

This load they gave me seems sort of impossible to make the delivery appt. I'm supposed to get loaded tomorrow at 10am in henderson, drive 733 loaded miles to Columbia MO, and deliver at 10am 5/23.

Do a lot of people do that or is it pretty safe to say I will 100% get to stay there?bryan21384 Thanks this.

If it were me, I'd drive to the shipper once empty. I'd spend the night there, and once loaded you should have a 10 hr break. Then drive as far as possible. With a fresh clock, you'll get back into Missouri. I think you're going to Aurora Organic Dairy with thay load. They're 24 hrs so you'll get empty. If you don't make it at 10 am, it's ok. They'll take it. Once you get loaded, just send a message with an ETA. Long as it gets there thr next day at a decent hr, you're good.Peace_Maker, dwells40 and DreadfulDay Thank this.

I've done it before, and they didn't bother me. I can't say for anyone else. If they put it in your load info, its a safe bet to say other drivers have done it before too. I had to deliver to the PFG next door and reloaded at Lineage I think. The pickup was for 1 pm the next day. Got there the night before, and was there for well past 10 hrs.DreadfulDay Thanks this.
