One way to approach it and save some of the time a 30 min break would take is to run as far as you can, or the fuel stop if it's pretty far out like Salina or something, do a 2 hour split, shower, etc. instead of a 30. Run your hours out from there, do an 8 hour split, run it to the receiver and then do 2 hours in the dock. It's not a ton of time, but it is something.

It should be doable if shipper loads early and quick, but don't give yourself an aneurysm if you get delayed at shipper. We're using ELD and in governed trucks... dispatchers are pretty understanding when things just aren't possible.

I overslept a Target appointment that I had plenty of time to make... didn't catch any flack lol. You won't have any issues with dispatch if you give it your best

Those are pretty decent runs to start off the week. They love sending you to Houston lol. Seems like you're headed there or back from there all the time.

At least the dash was just a little hiccup. I'd imagine it'd get a little time intensive with sourcing parts if it was something related to the dash itself.

I'm headed to Robinson now to pickup a load going to Palmyra. Loaded on a brand new trailer, peaceful overnight run, and an easy reload coming back? That's what dreams are made of lol.

Danville McLane was pretty decent for a 29 pallet, 3500 case load. Out 3 hours after appointment time. Can't complain too much about that.

Everything to gain and nothing to lose. Denver area is full of hiding spots. I think you'll be fine though.

I swear to you man I kill those Houston runs. I'm ok with it because that's 800 miles each trip down and at least that on the next run. I've gone down there 3 weeks in a row. There was one instance I went to the Walgreens twice in a week lol. I get pigeonholed to territories. Last couple of months, it was Sauer loads.

3 hrs at Danville? That's actually really good, especially for that many cases. I know ive gotten some good naps over there. You're week is setting up to be a nice one.

Well didn’t expect that one in Danville. They weren’t busy at all when I arrived for my 0100 delivery. Got a door immediately and I was empty in just over an hour. Oh and lumper was prepaid so :):):).

Screenshot_20240521_231702_Maps.jpg Well...the whole plan blew up. I did get to stay overnight at the shipper. I was about to get loaded early at 9am. I backed in the dock and the loader spotted a small strip of mold in the trailer deck. So I had to go get a washout, and now I'm a work in appt. So who knows when this will get delivered.

Dang brother..at least the beacon isn't too far, its just the line to get a wash out is ridiculous. What'd dispatch say?

Has anyone been to the Coca Cola in Richmond VA? Where’s the best place to park/do they have over night parking?
