It’s a long daily drive on poorly maintained winter roads if it’s the Chapman plant on highway 10 . I’ve slipped and slided my way across there a few times on windy winter days .

Doesn’t look like i’m going to chapman’s since i haven’t heard back . I don’t get these companies that put out wanted ads but you never hear back from them . I sent out applications to Gls/Dicom which i did get a email from a talent agent telling me it was nights and 10-11 hrs a night going line haul . I replied back saying that’s fine i work nights now and nothing back . I sent 4 emails and still nothing
i also sent a application to Gary ridge Eggs and again nothing back and they have two ads for the same position. Why post wanted ads if you’re not going to contact anyone backNorthEastTrucker Thanks this. -
Yeah, that's frustrating when they do that. Not that hard to even send an email that's says thanks but no thanks...
BLBurton Thanks this. -
That used to be common practice under the old temporary foreign workers rule . Post ads everywhere and tell the government no one applied. Not sure if there’s a new scheme nowadays.

Theres multiple answers to this. Most likely they are overwhelmed by responses to their ads. I get half a dozen blind phone calls a day looking for AZ work. The second reason is they put up an ad to get leads on potential canidates for when they need to hire in the near future. This is especially true for larger carriers who may need to hire dozens of drivers due unexpectedly for various reasons (sudden unexpected increases in volume or new business). The third is they just never take down the ads once they've hired - look at all the trailers and signs outside of building saying they are hiring. Like they are going to redecal trailers every week and take down large signs on the side of warehouses.
Edit: I agree with AlbertaFlatbed, have some common courtesy. And I also understand the frustration looking for work right now. Good luck out there, hope you find something decentAlbertaflatbed Thanks this. -
I did hear back finally from Gls/Dicom what they call a talent agency saying yes in fact he needs my cvor and abstract before they could do an interview. Only ticket i have is the 95 in a 80 zone in my personal pick up from last september. Will see if they get back to meBLBurton and Albertaflatbed Thank this.

Gls/Dicom actually pay reasonably. You should be o.k. there once you get in.
