Cool that's good to know. I'm not certain if my shop would be union and it wasn't mentioned.
Yeah. The backing has got a lot of drivers disqualified. Has to do with the trailer being a tanker and having the tandems to the back. Plus it’s smaller than a 53’ and 48’ foot trailer so it turns way different. They have you back into a parking space with cones set up on each white stripe. Both regular and blindside back. You hit a cone and you’re done. They give you the opportunity to get out the truck and check. And also as many pull ups as you want. But don’t take too long or you’re also done. I say about 10 minutes max.[/QUOTE]
Yeah...backing was never my strong suite. I'm currently running a 42' tri in some tight spots so I may have gotten better (haven hit ish). If they're expecting a bling side without a back glass I may as well forget it. Thanks for the info. I'll start practicing more blindside's while I'm on some sites.

All of our trucks have back windows. If you do get a road test just take it slow.
About 95% of our deliveries are backups to tanks. They need drivers to be smart and safe. That’s why if you hit a cone is like hitting something at a customer and that’s a no no. Safety is No 1 priority here.Gotstuckwithatruck Thanks this. -
Good to know on the back glass. Started my career with a Sleeper and as such didn't realize the significance of a back glass. Ran a day cab that had some kind of insulation behind it once. Didn't realize at the time that back glasses were optional until another driver asked about it.
Taking it slow is definitely my thing,it baffles me when I see driver's race through yards only for you to meet them at the gate or next intersection.viper822004 Thanks this. -
