Hope everyone had a good memorial day! Hell let loose in TN today lol. I've never seen so many Georgia tags in TN. I guess everyone made it a Nashville weekend.
Picking up Coke from Chattanooga going to Wright City. PU time is 01:00, but got a little bold and showed up at 16:00. Apparently, their check in parking is a 2 hour maximum, so I got ran off, but I was there 4 hours early last time, so I guess just have to make it reasonably close to appointment. Security guard told me the Burger King across the highway has truck parking, and he was correct, if you all need a spot to hangout around here. There's a dead end side street right next to BK also, so even if you get ran off by management, you could just creep 100 feet to the side street and hangout.

HI FELLAS, I CALLED LISA ABOUT BEING REHIRED & SHE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO DO A NEW APPLICATION TO GET THE BALL ROLLING. I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU CAN RECOMMEND A GOOD DRIVER MANAGER BESIDES JUSTIN. JUSTIN IS THE REASON I QUIT BEFORE BECAUSE HE RAN THE HECK OUT OF ME. BE SAFE.

At the moment, everyone is sort of being dispatched by all the dispatchers since Travis left and the new guy is still getting situated. There's still some stretches of 3000+ mile weeks, but seems the average is 27-2800 currently. I'm not sure if that's more or less than they had you averaging last time you were at Climate

That's just running with Climate Express in general. They all run you hard. I mean no harm, but you don't come here if you don't like to run hard. Travis ran me hard for the most part. Thrash is correct. I'm not sure anyone has a specific DM. For the most part, Rich has sent me loads since Travis left but I've gotten em from Joe, Robert, amd Justin too. If you get burned out, just send a message and say you're ready to go home. They only require you to run 2 weeks at a time, just tell them that's the schedule you'd like to stay on and they'll accommodate that.Peace_Maker Thanks this.

Oh yeah. I've used that BK a bunch of times. They don't care at all. I'm headed back to Kinloch with cheese from Wisconsin. I was running with a driver but he took a wrong turn in Milwaukee for some reason lol. I was just glad to get that heavy ### load off this morning. They let me get fuel wherever because the load was so heavy. That place down in Laporte wanted dry vans but Climate sent reefers lol. I said put it on the trailer, and I'll figure it our later. 1300 miles wasn't getting passed up lolThrasher28 and Peace_Maker Thank this.

Cookin' along pretty well today. Warrenton to Limon today. Delivering in Johnstown at 0500 tomorrow, so should be setup for a decent weekend run back towards MO
Peace_Maker, bryan21384, Lumper Humper and 2 others Thank this. -
You might get one of those long milk runs like the last time I saw you in Johnstown. You definitely were rolling for sure. I just got out here to Albuquerque with a Coke load. It was probably the easiest 1077 miles I've ever ran.Peace_Maker and Thrasher28 Thank this.

Those ABQ runs are a nice change of pace. Nothing better than setting the cruise through the panhandle. You'll have a hell of a week if they deadhead you to Monte Vista for taters. I think I loaded on a Saturday there once.
I'm picking up at New Belgium Brewing in Ft. Collins and it delivers Monday in STL. Works out about perfect for fitting in a 34. Glad this PU had some spare time. Got empty and realized the plastic part of the chute up front up top over the unit was almost completely ripped off, so getting that taken care of now.Last edited: May 31, 2024
Peace_Maker, bryan21384 and JForce28 Thank this. -
I like that New Belgium spot to load. They always take you early and load you quickly. When the chute is ripped off, I can always credit that to Hershey for double stacking those pallets. Lol. I was prepared to get taters but they sent me to Southwest Cheese to reload for Youngstown, OH Tuesday. Lots of time to get up there. I've never delivered to the cold storage spot there but I'll take the good start to the new week!Peace_Maker and Bumper Thank this.
