I'm looking for a good solo starter company to go with. I don't have any endorsements & have an automatic restriction. I have over 200 hours in cdl school.
Anywhere in Georgia would work for me.

@Chinatown will be able to help you out here soon. It's worth mentioning that starter companies are all over the country. The one you sign on with most likely won't be headquartered in Georgia, though many companies do have terminals in the Atlanta area. Many companies also have a presence there so you're definitely hireable. The question is, do you want reefer, dry van, tanker, flatbed?
Chinatown and markatl1993 Thank this. -
Noted... thanks
I honestly don't have a preference I'm open to pretty much anything. I don't have any violations or charges. I'll get my hazmat endorsements once I get some OTR experience..austinmike and bryan21384 Thank this. -
You good with a hair test...Swift is a good start. Plenty of options and NO training contract. NOT Knight.
The 2 merged a while back.markatl1993 Thanks this. -
Sounds good man, once you get your license, you can get any endorsement at any time. The sooner the better though. Wherever you go, just keep an open mind. It'll most likely be tough to see really good money your first year as you'll be learning. Use the time to hone your skills. After that first year, the industry opens up so much more. Don't listen to what anyone says about these companies. There will be some naysayers that think they got the scoop on every company. It's up to the driver himself when it comes to how his experience will go at ant company. I started with Western Express in 2010. Everybody had something negative to say, but I had a nice experience there. Maybe because I did flatbed. I had a good trainer, and he kept reiterating that ita about what you put into it.markatl1993 Thanks this.

Did you go to chatt tech ?
Or a private school ?
Just about every big trucking company has a terminal in Atlanta .
I’d get the haz mat now .
once you’re on the road , getting the fingerprints and sitting for the test are not easy .austinmike Thanks this. -
You'll make the best money with refrigerated or flatbed.
If you have all the endorsements you can try tankers.
The 200 hr. cdl school is great, gives you lots of choices. -
Home - S&S Transport (sstransport.com)
Has flatbed, refrigerated, dry van.
Ask for refrigerated OTR.
markatl1993 Thanks this.
