More power/Torque

Early acerts we’re normally just a flash away from 550 hp . I’m surprised a 2003 isn’t a mbn single turbo or 6nz .

You can go way up on your power. It just depends on what kind of money you wanna spend.

 

You can put a 650 hp file in it and not change anything.

 

I'm somewhat certain the truck my old man had an MBN in was an '03. Thinking it was a fairly low S/N MBN as it had a few teething issues early on.

 

I don't know what kind of weights you plan on pulling but my old man was dragging 120k every day in the mountains with a bone stock 475 hp MBN. It did the job, the guy with the Signature 600 only made it to the mill 10 minutes faster.

 

He did have 4.33 rears in that truck too though. The next one had 4.10 rears and 530 hp.

 

with much less fuel in the tanks….
