I can't answer for the OP, but I know that in every driving job I've had they all say you won't get a paycheck the first week and that payroll runs 1 week behind. In one company I drove for it was 2 weeks behind. I drove for 3 weeks before I got my first paycheck. But I did get paid.

 

True. I have experienced that myself.

However, the company has always been up front about it.

I inferred, perhaps incorrectly, from the tone of the OP, that the company was not up front about the pay lag.

 

Hello there, did you by any chance find a solution to this mess? Today the same exact thing happened to dear friend of mines. The problem is he’s going through a major financial hardship and he really was counting on this paycheck. Please let me know thanks
