Just got my CDL out here on the East coast. Looks like I am headed out West for Watkins and Shepard next month. Looking forward to seeing the other side of the country! Not bad for starting new life at 40. Please be nice to tiny women. :biggrin_2556:

    Hello and welcome!
Well, if you are going to be working West Coast, we might see you, hubby runs mostly WA, OR, ID, CA, UT and NV. I think he lives on I-5, I see him on the traffic cams there more than I see him at home!

Baack, pretty kitty and kickin chicken Thank this.

Thanks a bunch! May be I will run into you while I am out there after you get started. So far the guys have really been great to me. Can be a little intimidating with being a little woman. But go for it! If there is a Smith and Solomon school near you, check them out. Mine here in DE was awesome, best bunch of guys and they really train you!

Congratulations Pretty Kitty and welcome! I'm envious in that I'd love to give WS a shot but they're not hiring from my area (MS Gulf Coast). Good luck to you and, I was married to a "little woman" for nearly 36 years (still devoted friends with her). She's 5' 1-1/2", about 115 lbs and, at age 56, she's still cute as a speckled pup. She's actually very pretty. Good luck with WS, you've probably made a good choice!
