ill tell u what, i been a city driver officialy for 2 weeks now and i already seen plenty of docks where i pull up to them and said what idiot designed this?

i had to go to this flower shop in kokomo indiana, a brand new building....the lady told the company sure theres plenty of room to turn a semi around in

i stop on US 31 in the heart of kokomo (busy) and go to the back of the building....i dont even think i could turn my pickup truck around back there

i had to stop on us 31 and blindside into a narrow driveway that had a 4 foot drop off on the drivers side

i actually didnt have any problems but it was still nervewracking

When I zoomed in on that it showed the drive, but no building.:biggrin_2556: I hate to tell you, but that is a lot of room to negotiate in. Pole or not. Trust me that is a piece of cake. The mouth of that drive is wide and Y'ed out on the end. I have seen many that was straight, narrow, poles and fire hydrants at the drive. Plenty of room at that one.

All that tells me is there are drivers in trucks that should not be solo yet.

I looked at that from street view, and I can't help but agree with the OP.

Looks to me that if a road truck with a 53' trailer were to back in there, the tractor would be in the street.

I have been in a lot of places where the tractor was in the street. Even if that is the case look at the wide angle to approach the drive. Plus we are talking about a day cab here that can slide axles.

This baby looks pretty easy compared to some of the docks I was hitting in Chicago, the one I hit in Queens, and several in LA. I'm not saying I am the world's greatest trucker, but you should be able to hit that baby with no pullups if you set it up right.
