How does the organic meat compare to 'normal' meat? I've had some organic stuff(pastas, veggies, etc) and it was pretty good.

they don't really taste much different but organic meat and dairy products are healthier because they do not have all the hormones in it that regular meat does. I buy a lot of organic elk and bison meat from a place near where I live, it tastes much better than beef although it is a little more expensive.

    That makes sense.
I remember reading somewhere that the typical cow, (non-organic) is fed somehting like 35 different medications in its lifetime. Mostly antibiotics, some growth hormones, and a few other things I can't remember.
So by eating that same cow, we get secondhand drugs that we didn't want.

No you don't. That's what a liver is for. Steroid and Prohormone users take massive amounts of associated stuff and have to take liver protectants because of this.
Your wild game has a different and more varietable diet than cows, so the meat will taste different, including because they are a different animal.

The purpose of steroids is muscle growth/bulk, and as such they end up there, although yes the actual metabolism goes on in the liver, before they are transported for use in muscle cells.
    Meat in the main part is muscle, so . . . . . .

I'm a powerlifter; became one because I just couldn't get anywhere with bodybuilding anymore. At 56, not taking steroids, my natural levels have plummeted down to where gaining any beef is fantastically hard anymore.
The way I see it, if there were any active steroids still in meat, our nonorganic diet that consists of massive quantities of meat would create an anabolic response in me.
    It does not.
I put on a small amount of muscle when I changed to strength training, but that is from other factors and has leveled out. I do believe that organics would be better, but not because of steroids used in growth processes of other animals.
