Dear New Drivers - be a good steward

Wow. Probably could write a doctoral thesis on this.
Basic courtesy and respect are dead.

Humanity is a great thing, it’s people I don’t like.

 

Love’s opened a new location in Michigan City, IN. In talking to employees there, they’re doing everything they can to keep the place under control. So far, they’re doing a great job. Really nice Love’s location. Really nice people working there.

Too bad it has a Taco John’s. As I told them at the fuel desk, that is NOT food suitable for people who travel for a living. There’s a Hardee’s up the street that closed. Love’s should’ve gotten that franchise in there. Not cheap, but, a way better menu.

 

I see the sign for it but it is not yet in my RM GPS. Never been there to check it out. I'll have to make a point of it, at some point.

I have noticed one thing though. Love's seems to be the only chain that is opening new locations.

Your neighbors are SOL, most of the morons on the road can only recognize a few signs & that yellow one is top of the list. In the last year just changing Ez-Go signs from blue to yellow has eliminated my easy parking spots & forced me to relocate to safer areas.

 

Terrible.

 

Speak for yourself, i dont even bother with a loves if it has a hardees, there is literally not a single thing on any of their menus i can stomach, its all rubberized grease. I may, however, stop at one with a taco johns even if i dont neccessarily need to stop.

If you have issues with taco johns, heaven forbid you ever have taco bell, waaaay more grease in that, almost as much as hardees "burgers", but seriously, only eat 3 tacos no sour cream and youll be fine.

The michigan city loves is... odd, definitely better than the speedway there, but only ever really used the sp÷dway for coffee amd ciggarettes (fuel before i had a real fuel card, and before the wierd pilot buyout of the islands)

 

See it all the time. Driver before he leaves 20ft from a trash can will toss a bag under his truck. And I am not sure what you all do but I haven’t peed outside my truck in nearly 3 decades. No. I don’t go inside in the middle of the night either.

 

I guess I’ll be the first to mention that a not yet open business with cones to block entry into their parking lot until opening day means “Trespass”.

 

I got there the other day.
Nice place, lots of parking and wide open.

Actually, too wide open.
Probably a hundred yards or more from the closest parking spot to the store.
Maybe not that bad when the weather is nice, but during winter?
