He's probably got one of what you're looking for . Don't know if you'd ever find it thou.

 

He had it, took him about 5 minutes to find it. He has a lot of stuff lol….

Well, that ain’t good….

 

Mornin' errbody. Rolling US-218 NB through West Point, IA a little bit ago just south of Mt. Pleasant, IA. Someone had just marked the northbound chicken coop closed on Trucker Path and it is not a Drivewyze site either. So, I top the hill and see the stinking sign change from closed to open. I'm the first customer of the day. I exit and roll my steers on to the scale and he gives me the yellow arrow to pull around back for an inspection.

He meets me out back and instantly asks for my ELD. I put it in inspection mode and he sends himself my output file. He starts the Level 1 off by checking my front lights and wipers and at that moment a new GMC 3500 4-door dually with a loaded 53' Take 3 wedge car hauler bypassed the scale and the DOT officer says "have a good day because I know that car hauler will have an issue and you won't."

This Iowa DOT officer literally sprinted to his Iowa DOT truck and tore off after the GMC 3500 car hauler. I kept looking ahead of me and to the left and right to see where he stopped the car hauler and I didn't see them until 15 minutes had passed I saw the lights of the officers truck in the distance. When I passed them I saw that the truck was new with paper tags and shoe polish for numbers.

He let me go from a Level 1 inspection at a weigh station to chase down a car hauler and go to him a revenue generating roadside inspection.

 

Sucks to be him, but darn good for you. Mixed bag indeed.
