You're not under contact and only a few days in with CRE. If it were me, I would get out of there. You can try to line something else up before leaving, but that's not going to be easy with two other people always around. It may be better to get home first and then worry about what comes next. Are you close to home now? If not, does CRE have a terminal near where you currently are or where you're heading? Do you have a credit card or any other means of paying for travel back home?

Lord help that guy if he was that naive...
-
As a person with kidney disease, and who spent 10 years on dialysis before getting a transplant, I can guarantee that guy is full of *feces*. Unless he is already ON dialysis (fat chance of that, unless he brought a dialysis machine and about 20 gallon bags of dialysate with him), he NEEDS water, probably even more than you do. In fact, if he's already seeing a nephrologist, why on earth is he getting in to trucking? I had to give it up due to my kidney disorder.
Since he dropped that little nugget of fantasy on you, pay close attention to what he actually does eat; if he's got 'bad kidneys', he should severely limit anything with potassium (like potatoes, tomatoes, bananas, avocados, orange juice, etc.) and should also be limiting his protein intake. Pay attention to what he eats; that will tell you which orifice he's speaking out of....Albertaflatbed, Chinatown and tscottme Thank this. -
Yea they told me regional solo after this trainingbryan21384 and Chinatown Thank this.

If that's what you want, regional solo, then hang in there with the training.4wayflashers, bryan21384 and tscottme Thank this.

"His kidney doctor" is a figment of my sarcastic story where a driver that is dehydrating himself to avoid stopping to P is giving a silly excuse for not drinking water. Drink water, lots of it. There are other ways to keep tight schedules. Getting kidney stones is worse than giving birth through your "garden hose".4wayflashers, recieverman09 and TexasRiverRat Thank this.

I took my doctor advice and increased my water intake. I didn't know kidney disease/failure can be caused by lack of hydration.
My kidneys are ok, but wouldn't have been had I not learned about water intake and proper hydration.
You give good, knowledgeable advice on the subject. Hope other truckers heed that advice.Albertaflatbed, tscottme, Blu_Ogre and 1 other person Thank this. -
I cannot imagine three people in a truck.

Please don't use the word "crap" and use the word "manure" instead.austinmike Thanks this.
