Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Heard about that Monday. Couldn’t have happened to a better bunch of folks. Talk sweet as sugar to your face and stab you in the back at the same time.

 

Talked to my friends that work for a certain three letter organization and just smh….

 

Hate hearing about Brittany,she was good people,the company as a whole is nowhere what it was when I signed on.

 

Yes, she did seem to be. I didn’t really have much to do with her. Wonder how she figured into the whole thing?

 

Hanging on the yard,got to put my truck in the shop tommorrow, for a bad sensor. Hope everyone has a great 4th.

 

Alpharetta knocked on my door 0300 to unload Wed and was out by 0430. Thankfully was preplanned on a Gatorade from Lithia Springs to Byhalia so bounced there and dropped and hooked and got to Byhalia at 1130 then dropped an empty at Volvo since they needed empties there then grabbed a New Castle off the yard and dropped it yesterday. Only had three loads available so stuck sitting until tomorrow morning to pick up in Groveport going to the BH in Roanoke for Sunday morning. Crappy week this week. Fighting for layover on this one and asking to end trip tomorrow night instead of Sunday.

 

Thanks. All I can do is talk to WM terminal manager where Im assigned. Hoping to get out of the industry all together next year, tired of chasing miles and fighting for what should be automatic to begin with. Id have to find a good local gig that pays good hourly or something like you got now to stay in this industry. Only been around the industry 20 yrs and really has changed for the worst.
