Correct me if im wrong, but with the treads to be worn down that much wouldnt they need to be zipping it around a ton on pavement/concrete? I *think* the offroad vs turf vs pavement tires makes a big difference in pattern wear, but im not sure

The offroad or pavement or turf can make a difference in wear, like offroad tires (aka industrial or ag tires) will wear faster on pavement, whereas on road tires and turf tires won't wear too fast. I always see industrial tires on forklifts like this. Look up the difference between ag and industrial tires, you'll see what I mean. Never seen on road or turf on a forklift. Industrial tires are the best. What it looks like in the photo, that forklift was always run on pavement hard. Someone is too cheap to buy new tires! (Btw the back one looks like it's gonna blow any second)

That machine ought to weigh about 50k I would guess. The trailer is probably rated for it, just not concentrated like that.

Ok, just curious, if he had a trailer with a coil package, would it have withstood that load?

The concentrated load is the big thing. That trailer is probably designed for sticks and bricks. If the guy would slide the front axle forward and move the dozer back a bit it would probably hold a lot better. As it is now he's got it all the way forward and the thinnest part of the frame trying to span from the axles. Guarantee that trailer would look just as bad with a 48K coil dropped right in the middle.

But he's getting $3/mile guys. Big money heavy hauler there.

There was a video posted by Pepes towing in LA a little while ago. Guy had a 70K battery on a standard step deck / freight truck. The neck snapped and dropped the trailer on the ground. The driver was all over the video talking about how the trailer was a piece of junk since it failed. He didn't seem to be able to understand that putting a 70K lb 20ft container right up against the step had grossly overloaded the trailer. Luckily it stayed attched enough that he was able to skid it to the shoulder before anybody died.
