Coffee a 'miracle' drink with many health benefits, experts say

I think im missing some tastebuds or have a genetic variance. I dont feel pain from hot peppers unless i get really crazy. Mostly they taste sweet to me. Kinda minty honestly. Ive found spicy foods have always tasted wonderful but really bitter or some acidic things taste like dirt or just nasty. Both in combination are just flat out offputting.

I also literally cant taste tea. Like at all. Just nice smelling hot water.



Stuff like this i cant even taste the spice. It just tastes like especially good somewhat sweet cheese. Meanwhile my friends are all panting and wimpering.

Watched while drinking my coffee!! Ran out of coffee and got bored sooooo.

 

Everything is good in moderation. I have coffee few times a month, just for the taste of it, sweet and creamy. Tea has more caffeine than coffee, tastes better to me too, so I stick with it, in moderation of course.

Coffee is an acquired taste and with that there is more bad coffee than good coffee. Most of coffee sold here by folgers, maxwell house and the like are blends with inferior beans grown in rainy, hot & humid areas of the world where it imparts a bitter taste. Then if you compound bad roasting... well crap in and crap out. Oxygen then is not your coffees friend and will make any good roast taste like butt in a week or two.

Honestly i hate the plastic waste but k-cups are hard to be once you find your jam. Packed in nitrogen and no o2 spoilage within reason. For anyone here searching for a solid cup of black coffee:

.51c a cup with well water. Still tastes like butt with over chlorinated city water.

Having grown up in a large cult that forbade coffee. It was never in house. Coffee is terrible drink, but chocolate coffee beans are tasty. But easy to eat too many and become Cornholio
