Cdl permit trying to find school or company.

My first company was a crap company and I knew it when I started. I didn't care though because I just wanted a few months experience, then I could move on and that's what I did. I didn't gripe and whine either, because I had a plan.

 

Your choice.

 

Does anyone have current information about this program. I have been hard pressed to find a training opportunity. I had a cdl-a, but let it go in 2017. I had some otr experience, but I've been getting turned down by places like Roehl and Maverick. Not sure why as I have a squeaky clean record and mvr. Anyway, Millis and Swift are the only positive responses I've gotten, and I am wary of Swift. Millis has me scheduled to start October 14th in Cartersville, GA.. The only issue I have with them is they don't provide transportation to the school. Lodging is only covered the first week. And the wait to get started. I've been unemployed for a month and I don't have much money to invest, but I'm serious about getting back into the industry. I'm in the far northeast Tn area if anyone has any suggestions for me.

I have applied to them. They did give me a call and told me to obtain a cdl permit before they can proceed with the application process. I'm working on that. I have to have it before I go to Millis anyway. KLLM does seem like a great opportunity for my area.
