How much pay should I expect per mile I am new

    I left my warehouse job was making 1,000 4 days 3 days off but was tough work got my cdl to get paid more so how much should I be looking at when they offer me jobs??? Lastly, The house I wanna buy cost 750k and for car well cheapest insurance price

    Approximately and I'm not in tune with current CPM (cents per mi) but around .50-.60 CPM. You need to realize your miles driven will vary. Could be 2K/week or 3K/week. Some co's offer bonus's but most have a monthly minimum to obtain the bonus. (10,000 as an example) Plan your time off, because that will throw a monkey wrench into a pay period.

    You should definitely jump into buying a $750K house right away. I can’t see anything going wrong with that.

    That $750K house is absolutely doable on new driver pay as long as you are able to put $550K as a down payment. Hopefully it is in a neighborhood with an aggressive HOA so you can really enjoy life at its best.

    50 cents per mile is probably the average for new drivers across the board. Drivers with 1-2 years of experience will probably average about 60 cents per mile.

    One thing I would be cautious of is to not get tricked by companies who might offer a higher mileage rate but either are 1099 or don't offer that many miles.

    You might get stuck either driving a lot of miles for a low rate or driving far less miles for a higher rate. YMMV

    It varies a lot based on where you are working and what company/work you do. 50 cents per mile (CPM) is probably rock bottom in some areas and not enough in a lot of other areas. Jobs are scarce right now. Newbies with no experience can't walk in and make demands. MAKE SURE YOU TALK TO CURRENT WORKING DRIVERS AT THE COMPANY BEFPORE YOU DECIDE TO WORK AT THAT COMPANY. Ask the company to have one of their drivers on the same account call you and ask him how much we makes, how many miles he drives, what his schedule is, etc. You cannot just read reviews on Google.
