1 dead, 2 more injured in crash that shut down I-285 ramp for hours
A truck flips at this ramp at least once a month .
Despite all the signs etc
it’s a pretty sharp ramp but evidently a lot of drivers think they can whip around this ramp at 60 or 70
One killed when truck flips over in Atlanta

Ive taken that ramp a lot over the years. Ive had drivers get right up on my ### and blow their airhorns or curse me out on the CB more then once before for taking it at or even the posted speeds if i have a loose load. Your average driver couldnt drive a #### kiddys push car. God forbid a semi anymore.Sirscrapntruckalot, Flat Earth Trucker and cuzzin it Thank this.

Apparently all of that is not enough to make the DOT realize that this ramp needs to be redesigned.The_vett Thanks this.

Ramp doesnt need to be redesigned. Drivers need to learn to read and follow ppsted signsThe_vett, Opus, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this.

For some reason it is thought too horrific for tender European eyes. Do Canadians have the same problem, the error sign says limited to the USA. Just wondering

The ramp is dangerous and needs to be redesigned. Interstate traffic should not have to slow down to 40 MPH or less in order to navigate a ramp that was built with a curve that is too sharp and nowhere near enough banking.The_vett Thanks this.
