Same as every year. We'll get .025/.03 cpm and $1.25/$1.35 on the hour.

 

Former coworker said OD does raises every September. How are the terminals and volume for you guys? It's famine for me at a competing company. I've heard OD is all over the place and it depends on each terminal. Some are running everyone hard and burning their 60. Other terminals have line sitting home and p&d guys working dock.

 

Yes we get a raise every September. I'm at a large break bulk and my run never cancels. We have some runs that will get canceled more than others but you just have to do your homework at bid time and stay away from the schedules that aren't running every day. I'm on Sunday/Thursday 3200 miles a week run. My son is a P&D driver at a different terminal and he runs anywhere from 50 to 65 hours a week. He likes to work so they keep him busy.

 

What is the current mileage rate?

 

Depends on region. I'm in the midwest and we're at .7958

OD posted a 71.9% OR in Q2 so I'd hope that means we'll see a raise closer to 3cpm than 2cpm.
