If you have 15 years experience why would you be worried about brokers who you should already have a good relationship with .Your post doesn’t make much sense
-
Get some insurance quotes before worrying about anything else.

perhaps i should explain further,i actually have 47 yrs as an o/o,i have had my operating authority for 15 yrs,5 yrs inactive, since covid.i guess my question is,when a broker checks my set up packet, will he see 15 yrs of authority,or will he see recently reactivaed authority.thanks again

I'm calling BS here. No way you've been a motor carrier that long and not know how Safer works.
-
sir, instead of trying to insult me,could you kindly answer my question,if in fact you know the answer
-
You're insulting us with your obvious dishonesty. Call your favorite brokerage and ask them directly.
-
Well in response to the original question I don’t understand if you’ve had your authority that long you have to have a relationship with at least a couple brokers. I would call one of them and ask from the horses mouth your question. As far as I understand if you have a lapse in insurance and reinstate it will show when your insurance went back into effect they can also see the lapse also I’m not sure

Safer should show you active. That’s all. The problem as others have said is Insurance cost. Another problem is Carrier 911. They’re probably going to show you as a potential double broker. Meaning you have authority but don’t run freight, just illegally flip it. That’s what they report until you can show an inspection on safer snap shot.
