Question for experienced O/O, bidding short runs?

Well, if you have advice for him, I'm sure he would be glad to hear it. I'm not sure he's undercutting anybody we don't know. He was just looking for a fair rate.

 

Fair rate these days is 2.00 mile.

OP figure out what its worth to your customer-
6k a piece, don’t book by the load/ he gonna tell you take 8 once and 2 @9.
Idgaf if you get a light enough flat to do it legal at 9
3@7 1@5 to finish it
Day rate or hourly
Hourly prolly be better, if you ain’t handy chaining quickly “I’m doing it the right way”
Your call on what the rate should be/ idk your area at all. And it’s from your yard, back to your yard when you’re done.

Rate should be 600 per day up to 600 miles round trip, power only

 

I would charge daily rate of 2K plus rental fees if you have to rent something. Problem with renting is they want long term rental most of the time min 6 months in my experience.
