That's a no s#@ter. I started driving for my dad in a 63 Cracker box. 6-71 with a 10 speed. In the summer I'd buy a block of ice put it in passenger floor and kick that big vent open, it worked for a little while. Makes me appreciate what I'm driving now. It was a good learning experience, I miss those times but maybe not driving that truck.

I always liked the old 4300 Eagle that farmall had. The 9300’s are cool too though. Ya know even the ugly trucks used to look good.

- In the 70s I would see as many Transtar 4300 log trucks as any other brand around Grangeville ID. I liked the looks, but then again most trucks looked good then.
