What area of the country do you call home? They run all 48 but I don’t believe they hire out of all 48.

Ahhhh ok, both of which we definitely frequent. I've seen Wagoner so many times working here lol. I understand totally about being close to family. I live Memphis but sometimes do hometime in Murfreesboro. Family and a couple of kids are there. It's good to return to the stomping grounds from time to time.

I've been here almost 5 years, and most weeks I've been able to do 2500 miles on up. If you show you can run the miles and deliver on time, they'll push you closer to 3000 miles on up. It's pretty normal to see 3000 miles. I'd say company average is between 2600-2800 miles. You being in Wagoner, you'll probably see the house fairly often because we run so much Dallas. The trucks are governed at 688cruise and pedal. As for customer to broker freight ratio, its about 50/50. Most of the back hauls are broker loads. Usually your outbound loads are the customer loads, we most run in and out of the STL area and surrounding areas. I'm actually headed back to Missouri now. I'm dropping off a load at Coke in Wright City. That's one of our big time customers. This load I have reloaded in PA so that makes for some good miles. They're a pretty straightforward company. Definitely honest and everything I've been told by recruiting has come to pass in my time here. They have a specific way of how they do things, and it is effective. They definitely will not baby sit you here at all.

It definitely is a crapshoot but it can work if you figure out their system. The sleep schedules can flip flop sometimes but the fact that's it is so many regular runs here makes it easier to implement other obligations. Combine that with the fact that they have very good load planners, has helped me out tremendously.

Thanks for all your responses guys. After hearing from the drivers and how the loads are planned I'm thinking about going to have a bothersome wisdom tooth removed (oral surgery) before coming on board. Last thing I want to do is get started then have to ask for time off. I'd like to hit the ground running. Like I said I don't usually need to come home often but I know this oral surgery is gonna put me down for a few days at least. Gonna make a call to oral surgeon Monday while my application is still in the pipeline.

Just curious...how long after you submitted your application were you informed that you were not accepted?

Where I live doesn't matter. I told climate Express I wanted out for months and would move asap.
