Somewhere I have pics of @carhaulerjeff previous ride, 400 Grander, prior to the graphics and custom work as I delivered that to his company. Between Artie and I we have delivered most of his employers entire fleet over the last 7 or 8 years. I'm kinda jealous as my co-worker Artie got to deliver their first 589 unit and I have yet to drive one of those.

While I was off work after my shoulder surgery I went to pick this up at Cottrell for a fleet that several of my friends work for. I have a new Lohr headrack and trailer being built the first of October and hope to be picking it up sometime this fall. IMG_2740.png

Looking at the fender cowl our dealership sold that unit. We have a lot of customer pickups at Cottrell, and now that they are operating out of their new facility you don't have to deal with that awful RR crossing or the blind sightlines pulling out onto 60. Now you go out to 129 thru a few backroads, atleast until the new bridge and road is completed, then it will be even easier to enter and exit at Cottrell.

That was in March and I went to the old facility. I tried to get Cottrell to build me new headrack but they wanted my tractor for a minimum of 12 weeks. Just wasn’t going to happen. I talked to Lohr and they estimate a 2 week turnaround taking my rack off and mounting the new one.

Yeah, the lead times can be awful. From what I understand the Lohr units are nice so I'm sure you will be pleased.

As for Cottrell's new location, they just started shipping out of there the beginning of this month. It had been a slow process of them moving into the facility, but once complete their production times, and quality, ahould improve greatly.

I look forward to seeing your updated truck when completed.

I am looking forward to getting it. Fortunately @Hammer166 and a few other friends will help me with my loading process when I first get it.

I just don't like the way it drives loaded like that, I'll almost always put one behind the cab.
