I was on YouTube recently doing research on the best truck to buy to start my hotshot company. I seen a lot of people saying that renting is a better option with enterprise. However when doing further research i didn’t see any information about the option on their website ? Is there anyone that still uses this method ?
Does enterprise still offer dually rentals for hotshot drivers?

go to the dealer, get a towing guide and see what they suggest. Youtube isn't the place to go.
NO one will lease you a truck without an established business. -
Wondering how renting is a better option?
And when did enterprise have duallies? -
They don’t.
rental is ad hoc short term use, he is looking for a lease.Lane=addict Thanks this. -
Even if you rent a truck from enterprise, they refuse to give you permission to pull a trailer. Even if the truck has a hitch.

They long term lease most any size vehicle one can buy. I deliver new vehicles to Enterprise very often and dually’s are delivered to them all the time.
Whether you should lease a vehicle to start a business is not something I am going to comment on.Dino soar, LilRedRidingHood, Siinman and 2 others Thank this. -

Yes, Enterprise still rents dually trucks, among most other commercial vehicles. Were you on the right website? You need to go to their commercial truck rental site, not the one for cars.

That said, as a start-up, they likely will not rent to you as they usually require an established business, need to be named additional on your insurance policy and their upfront deposit/costs are prohibitive for anything other than a short term rental to replace a wrecked or broken down truck.
Now, they may be a good option for a long term lease since they offer competitive terms similar to Penske and Ryder, but just renting a truck to see how it goes starting in hotshot is a recipe for failure.Dino soar, LilRedRidingHood, Concorde and 2 others Thank this. -
I been driving 18 wheeler for a while and got a buddy who has his own hotshot business. ive learned its less overhead and you can actually make more money with less expenses than an 18 wheeler. However both are great business options
