It was a joke. But there's no way they can tell if you have family there, unless they want to investigate. All you really need to say is "I wasn't in the truck," and there's not a #### thing they can do to disprove it.

 

I got it. But it ain't gonna fly. Neither is saying I wasn't in the truck. If you can't document something a bureaucrat will pounce on it.

 

Oh, the humanity! They expected you to drive your full clock and be productive? Say it ain't so!

 

day and ross is a starter company, i currently work there but I'm quiting soon, they do alot of split sleeper birth, and count you sitting in a dock to get unloaded, as part of your 10 even if you dident get any sleep, and expect you to go pick up your next load, they give you alot of partial loads, and limit the amount of miles you can receive in a week, do alot of walmart live unloads and us foods unfortunately, I average like 5 to 6 live unloads a week, that's 10 hours a week minimum of unpaid time, because walmarts and us foods take forever to unload, which is ridiculous, I signed on to the account with a guaranteed pay per day which they took away shortly after I started, so right there is a red flag, they micro manage you a ridiculous amount, dispatch constantly gives you the wrong address to the receivers, on there work orders, people net the system they use is junk and constantly malfunctions, there in cab facing cameras constantly malfunctions goes off when you have your set belt on. and even records when your doing nothing bad or wrong. there trucks the mac anthems are slow very slow to the point your a safety hazard, add on top of that, your loaded to the max on every load you get, it's terrible, people say that's not a big deal but it is, everytime your on the freeway driving your cut off and have to slow down to nothing when people are merging onto the freeway, because people are not smart and slow, but don't yield, and your so slow you can't speed up so they can't do that to you, it's not your responsibility to let them over when their going 40 mph in cars, that's why there are yield signs, the speed limit is not 55 mph anymore on most freeways it's 70, with 9 months experience you can do much better, it's not alot but enough to where you can get a better job then day and ross, there dispatchers are also not great, inexperienced.
