We had us a pretty good time on Critter #1’s celebration of her 2nd year of life— except the part that Grumpy walked about 20 miles around the arena making sure that the other 20+ 2 year old participants got a turn on Sugar — Sugar and me took a couple days to get over it

Well we scrounged up a farm that needed a truck. Normally I do 15 mile mile circles in a harvest job. These are 75 1 way. Straight ### across 82. Rumor has it a guy got his ### clobbered by the elevator for rolling on the scale at 114500 86 and something was his net. They musta really got his ### cause his next load was z way better at 108500. Do these guys not realize what the DOT and fine state of Mississippi will do to them. No way would I let some farmer to force me to run that. I’d make him unload it. Craziness

We’re ready for bed it’s been a long day since Arkansas

Those numbers are kinda specific for a rumor. I would think that spreading rumors like that may result in the operator of that vehicle receiving further requests for their hauling services.

I am sure that one day the young one will have fond memories of the day. I also imagine your feet were glad when the event was over.

Me too. Running overweight is really dangerous and unprofessional

I can neither confirm nor deny having left the barn a time or three with the drive axle slightly overweight due to not wanting to take a twin screw. :biggrin_25520:

Supreme ####ery by Mississippi DOT. Road into the elevator we line up on wide shoulder between road and RR tracks. They was 2 driving up and down the line stopping with lights on then checking suspension gauges. If they looked heavy well let’s get a solid ground pressure number. He would not have been proud of my level of tension on the suspension. I do have a regulator ran to gauge only but my tires were telling the tale. How I missed out on the good times idk. We still ain’t ready to close our eyes and take that step off the ledge. I forgot that blood pumping raised heart rate feeling of there he is. C’mon revenuer “Let’s Dance” idk how may thousands he collected on that last mile. He had some buddies running 82 there between the bridge and Greenville. Due to cellular telephone and the magic of citizens band the line wasn’t near as long as usual. No idea why…..
