Children today rarely interact with other children. Times have changed. Plenty of parks here and swimming pools, but rarely any children at either. May seem odd since it's summertime here 12 months a year. I see school buses unloading children and they quickly head home and rarely talk to each other. They walk from the bus stop to home while staring at their phones. Don't see them out and about in the neighborhood riding bikes or playing ball like when we adults were growing up.
Having said all that, I side with @jaws2003 on taking his son with him on the road.broke down plumber, jaws2003 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
It's so different nowadays that my wife don't even get out of the bedroom to tell the kids to do something. I get up and walk to their bedrooms to get em to do what I ask. She just calls them, yet we are all under the same roof. Times are different for sure. OP is involved in his son's life. Just because it differs philosophically from a different era, doesn't mean it's bad.
