Recruiters says the safety departments verdict is I have minimum experience (1year) have two preventable and termination for violation of safety rule.

Am I cooked? Or is there a Hail Mary? To my knowledge I hit one guys truck fresh out of school and I ran over a snow covered curb in customer lot that crush the skirts under the trailer. They let me go months later for 20 over speed limit (speed limit drop from 55 to 30 on a down hill my speed what 50 mph for 10 seconds)

What to do honest and brutal truth

My opinion is you will not be hired by a legit w2 company. That 20 over is a deal breaker. You are responsible for maintaining legal speed.

You may be able to finagle a Chicago 1099 job but should probably bring your own jar of vaseline.
Could be trucking is not for you.
    Good luck.

Try Inland Xpress Salt Lake City, there fairly liberal over all, real good people to work for. Safety is yours to do what you will. Down hills can get you have to learn speed control, keep your brakes cool for when you really need them. Good Luck.

I would think the termination for a safety violation is going to be a bigger hurdle than anything else. A lot of companies will allow up to three preventable accidents. Your best bet is like @Dennixx said, try to find one of those 1099 companies to run for. They don't care. Don't care about safety, don't care about accidents, don't care about paying you....but you will get to work.

With your safety record, just take what you can get and be stubborn enough to stick with it for at least 12 months. Time is moving on and you're being left behind.

Instead of the chicago 1099 companies look into expedite like Panther or Load one. Like anything else they have good owners and bad ones. Gets ya experience though. 1099 you gotta take out your own taxes and find your own insurance but you get that experience unitl you got enough time and clean record that a good company will hire ya.
