You must be related to the former surgeon general. What was his name? Coop; something like that. He picked out that whacky uniform he used to wear....![]()

Well.......the cashier at the Subway wears a uniform also.....
Just because a person wears a uniform, does not mean they are automatically viewed as a professional........ -
Hey quit picking on the guy
He has guts and I respect him for thatSweetSouthernRide, Ken, 18wheeldumptrucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
My dad gave me one tip: Dress to success. I intend on being one of few newbies that makes it through their first year. This discussion reminds me of the member who criticized a Swifty driver on here for polishing the chrome wheels on his 670 Volvo. The result; A gentleman who worked for the receiver noticed and gave him priority due to his dedication and made a call to the company mentioning what a good driver he was. To me, he set an example that I want to follow. I have had many challenges and have blessed to have people around me give me help and be friends with most notably SSR.
Also I used to wear a shirt, tie and sometimes a jacket to school and did that at college too. When I cashiered I wore my own ties. I have twenty of them with the majority being silk. -
Why don't you quit knocking a guy for trying and give him some USEFUL advice instead..rookietrucker, SweetSouthernRide, Eskimo6804 and 1 other person Thank this.

Okay, Hunter, that's just a little TMI..

Yes sir Ken. I will admit my favorite is the salmon pink one that goes with my light blue shirt. A classic original.
-
Dude... You're just asking for it...
-
It is USELESS to give advice to one who claims to know everything about trucking......

If I knew everything, I would not be asking members like Stranger, Ken, Sweet Southern Ride, Nana, and other important contributors (I can not leave out Big Don) for their advice. Please take your negativity elsewhere or post good feedback in my thread. This thread is about my experience with a stranger who I have got the pleasure of knowing (sorry boss). I did not get to do a face to face interview. it was e-mail and phone conversations. When no one gave me a chance, he did and i'll say it more times but I am very grateful. Sure its an auto but I love driving semi's and to me thats all that counts.
KHalex94 Thanks this.
