Headed to Charlotte, NC. From Hagerstown.
Been some time since I’ve made a run there so just want a little insight. According to my preplan, looks pretty straightforward. I81 to I77 to Charlotte. Leaving out at 6:00 am. My delivery is on Michael Wylie Drive. Looks like I77 by Charlotte has a toll lane. Not taking that. Other than that, doesn’t look like anything difficult. Time wise seems to be about 7 hours. Anything else I should watch for?
Hagerstown, Md. to Charlotte, NC.

You're probably realizing about now that there is no truck parking in Charlotte.
Truckersheldan Thanks this. -
Haven’t been there for awhile so thanks for the update.

yeah, it's bad for parking.
there's a big rest area south on 77 at the SC line and an old weigh station at the 84? mile stick on the south bound side.Truckersheldan Thanks this. -
Way too late now probably but all of the exit/entrance ramps north of Charlotte on 40 (north of Statesville actually) are pretty big and wide and lots of trucks park along them. I certainly have a few times. That one southbound rest area is always packed.Numb Thanks this.
