Question about staying an owner operator or selling my truck

Maybe OKC is a ‘soft area’ for UPT? Have you inquired with other fuel haulers in the area that hire on O/O’s for power only?

 

I had a guy ask me about how much I made a week so i showed him my paystubs on ADP. His response was "yeah, but I bet it's hot in those trailers though."

You can't help but laugh at someone who's not willing to put in the work but wants to make more money.

That is usually the way it always is, complain about not getting paid but don't want to work either

 

What is this "Pay" you all speak of?

 

You can call companies around you locally, usually a long standing company or a local union-having will give you around $1700 todays day (before taxes, realistically $1200 take home pay)
Is all about researching, I was OTR for a local company made over $7k each July&June 2023, I made that 8/2024 with a local union company, plus under $100 month ins, bonuses, no night no weekends and plenty OT!! We need to help ourselves, RESEARCH, call around.

Few weeks ago a friend of mine who works for Walmart made $2100 on 1700 miles. 5.5 days of work, not touching the freight.
