if you gross 79900 for instance with all axles on the scale, then weigh each individual axle, the total will still equal 79900, right ? But, if you weigh two of five at the same time VS. each of those two, you will get a different weight, because you have to consider the remaining weight that is being "transferred" to the other axles. Hope this makes sense.

Perhaps that is why you get no ticket. Its just a quirk in that platform, or maybe the DOT was being nice.
Crown in the approach you have more weight transferred to each axle as it passes over the pad.

I live in Oregon and I pull a 2016 Imco belt trailer with spread axles. I've never had any issues with ODOT regarding weight. I'm permitted for 84K. I am able to hide some overage in California.

Had a 10 foot spread fixed. No issues. If any state has a cow it's Louisiana. 40K back there.

Curious about weight distribution on a 10-2 spread if the axle are both moved forward about 4 feet. Was looking at a 53ft trail mobile with that setup.

If you all ever come close to 40k on the spreads you have no idea how to load the wagon. It was rarely ever I was at 38k at 79k+loaded.

Or being in a bridge state and running 84k or 86k gross depending on the length of your trailer and where your axles are.

Wyoming loves weighing axles, no matter what your gross weight is.
