I feel lower than snake crap right now.

Local day cab drivers don’t always have that luxury of waiting until daylight. Night shift means entire shifts done In the dark depending on the time of year.

 

I have never been fired, but have worked for companies that went out of business.
By the grace of God, it seems that I always ended up with something that I enjoyed more.

At least you are not innocent and sitting in a prison.

Always be forthright. You don’t have to answer to or be around those weak managers any more, but you do have to look at that individual in the mirror everyday. We want truth from others, so we start with ourselves.

Something tells me that you’re fixing to land something even better than what you had.

The company can find out who pulled it last. Maybe cameras at the fuel stop where they took it to fill up . Nonetheless they know who pulled it last. Somebody higher up the food chain is covering another drivers but . You're in a good place to find a better job ,good luck and don't let this bother you. You did the right thing.

Winner. They know who damaged the trailer. OP was sacrificed. When this blows over, they will probably even have a job offer. I would not take it, trust is broken.
