    What??

Too bad, it is a joke ... it isn't homophobic by any means.

I don't want to bash you but I question why are you even considering trucking?

Wait, don't answer it, I've heard all the excuses.

You should have gone after something else instead of all these soft-skill education, again rhetorical.

You have other opportunities to make a lot of money with that education, take a chance and you can make millions.

Hell, I just realized that you could become a consultant with your EM degree, Helene just went through your area.

Salary is good in theory, but the amount has to be high enough, with regular raises in the pay system.

The pay in a lot of Salary positions are too low, and their accessorial bonus pay is not guaranteed by the company.

Salary mostly benefits the carrier, as they run drivers like crazy(A lot of short runs). It basically mitigates risk to the business owner by guaranteeing low overhead for driver payroll, while slapping a boat load of responsibilities on the driver for low pay.

In the end, a lot of salaried drivers get the short end of the stick, as they are run ragged for low pay that never changes, while the owner does well for him/herself.

I’m not homophobic, I don’t have a phobia or fear of homosexuals, I have a dislike as I believe it is a travesty and against the natural mores and laws of this world. Going to report me for that snowflake? If anybody is bringing crazy around here it’s you! You’ve got all that thar edumacation and looking at driving to financially motivate you? That’s crazy.

This would put most people out of their comfort zone. Not everyone is built like you. I have extended family where all the sibs taught English overseas. China, Georgia, Japan, Mexico. One still works in eastern Europe and another got married in Japan. The other two came back and teach elementary. Again, they aren't built like most. They grew up travelling on the cheap with their parents. Like, a book bag with one change of clothes. a passport and a phone. They've had very good lives.
