Best route from eastern Tennessee to Carolinas after flood damage

clear to Ashville the Gorge and I-26 over the mtn will be closed for a long time. next year they say.

 

I seen this today, not sure what's up though. I haven't seen any loads out of my area of Indiana going that way but, I wouldn't be looking for any regardless... Certainly hope the people are OK, seems to be some fishy stuff going on from other reports I'm seeing...

May not be any on load boards , but there's lots of loads going there. I've been in Valdosta,GA. all week but my company has done 3 loads into the area. A friend of mine went there yesterday, he works for another company.
We do direct for customer.

 

My father read me an article that said that I-40 will be closed until 2028.

September of 2025. Right now they have one lane each way. But coming into Asheville is only for storm relief

Despite Google Maps notice, there is no date set for when I-40 will reopen

 

All I can do is relay what was reported locally as I live an hour south
