My advice is to just stop 5 or 6 hours away, take your 10 hours and head to the customer around midnight and get in about 530 or so.

Bay area bridges no longer have toll takers. You just roll on through, they take a picture of your license plate and send a bill to the registered owner

Unless they did something to clean the place up, that is the most lot lizard infested truck stop in the entire country.
When I stopped there to scale about 8 years ago, the place was literally swarming at 1 in the afternoon.tarmadilo Thanks this. -
There's always street parking near the Denny's and Holiday Inn on the opposite side of 58 from Home Depot.
The Dog house saloon on Tehachapi boulevard is a great place to eat. You should be able to park on the street nearby.
