They tried to get me to haul one of those harvester type units (easier if it’s not an excavator with a head grafted on and a fellerbucher cab). With my wagon I think I was trying to figure out how to get it under 16’. I spent 2 hours twisting and shoving, manually moving the head with chains to get it closer to where I needed it. In the end said it couldn’t be done with the equipment I had. One of the few times I needed a non cantilever trailer. Just couldn’t shove the head far enough under the body, or I needed permission to chain the head upside down to the arm.

Thank you, that is what I thought when I was trying but couldn’t get permission from the owner of the unit to do either.
The chaining it up would have been complicated by the plastic/ light sheet metal that I likely would have broken on the trip. I was willing to unhook it but I needed wrenches and plugs for the hydraulic lines. (I would have bought the plugs as it was a good load going the right way but nope, don’t do it)
I’ll have to keep wondering what it was doing in a residential neighborhood half a block from a school. -

kind of an unruly looking load with one tire hanging off the side but sometimes you have to be creative when you’re loading stuff that doesn’t run…it made it safely to its destination… -
Did pump #5 of 8 a couple weeks ago to Florida. Customer taking a break on those for a bit.
Ran some pump parts down to New Orleans last week. Hauled these out last year. There's only about 40ft between that door and the fence. They were hoping we could back in to load. Luckily they ordered a crane this time so we didn't have to sit there for 3 days again.
Then did a 16'4" wide move across town this morning.
