Fuel gauge on Kenworth T660

    Hey all... my fuel gauge is not working properly. The tank is full but the gauge does not read full, it keeps moving back and forth between full and empty. It's not giving a reading. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

    I know this is an old post but I have a similar issue except that the ELD shows the correct amount, which indicates to me a working sending unit but either a faulty wire to the gauge or the gauge itself is bad … sound correct?

    If the ELD is showing correct fuel level but the dash gauge is not then the gauge is bad.
    Both your ELD and the gauge get their information from the same computer on the truck, and if it were a wiring issue you would have multiple gauges not working on you dash instead of just the one.
