I drive a International LT with the A26 motor every day. 380,000 on the clock. Has been down for an egr cooler a again for a Def sensor. Before that, I drove some 579 Pete's. Some with red motors, some Paccar. Had same issues as the Cornbinder.
As far as I'm concerned, they are all being built as throw aways. Plastic crap that rattles even when new.
I actually asked to get put in the International and taken out of the Pete's. It rides and drives way nicer. Keeps from shaking up these old bones so much.olddog_newtricks, Lonesome, buddyd157 and 2 others Thank this. -
I drive an International and feel that it is the bottom of the barreI . I am ok with it - I bought it. But I see where manufacturers cut costs with all brands. My Kubota tractor - I call the brand " perceived quality " . Perceived being the operative word there. Sell product of perceived quality. All manufacturers cut costs until there is an equlibrium when people stop purchasing said product. ALL manufacturers are guilty of this.

So should I stay away from the international hx6 20 with the Cummins engine or does it not matter which engine? Just stay away from international all together?
-
