this is the front part of trans only with no auxiliary section and no cylinder housing just mainshaft countershaft and thats all, reman from volvo.

Hi NASRIZA I have the same problem on 2015 Volvo VNL jerking while turning on uphill or downhill it’s like trying to change gear every few seconds only in reverse R1 and it’s fine in R2 … Forward gears are fine. Do you think I still need shorter transmission? Or there is a way to fix the jerking no codes. Thank you

There is a way to fix it I would need to open trans and replace the damaged bearings and gears

Can I still drive the truck and once I reverse use R2 instead? And how long it will last before damaging anything else

Depends if you have optional shifter with manual switch but it is only a patch and you are destroying gears inside trans
