Looking for info on Panther / Owner Op BIG Truck

DreamTeam44, Look in this forum under Panther Express II.. I think you will find your answer to this question.. In case you can't locate it tho, I am a FORMER driver from PEII.. and I am happy to say FORMER.. They did not keep their promise to me.. When I informed them I needed to be routed to my home state for home time, they told me there was nothing going that way.. 4 hours later, they sent another rig to my home state with a load.. They were trying to send me to New York.. I live in Oklahoma. They do not pay deadhead miles, and have no qualms about asking you to relocate (at your expense) to another city, because there is a "better chance" of getting you a load... then give you a 3 or 400 mile haul...

You would be better off contracting to WERNER, and I wouldn't wish THAT on anyone either.. Drive safe, get lotsa miles, and watch out for the Little people...

 

My wife and I ran for Panther. We had no issues. Lots of miles and nice people.

 

No personal experience with them, however haven't heard much good about them. I'm an o/o leased to landstar and I couldn't be happier, second lease with them and would do it 20 more times.

It's amazing, it's truly amazing.

That people will call companies liars, will say that the company did this, the company did that. But yet they don't tell the whole story.

You hear all of these people, but what proof (other than their rhetoric) can they offer to substantiate their statements. Can you show that you followed the companies procedures. Can you show how, where and when communications was done.

 

Lots of opinions, but when you ask for the facts to back it up it quickly goes silent. If you have something to contribute to help out fellow drivers then tell us the whole story, don't yell RUN RUN RUN and take off like a 5yr old kid.

 

My husband just started w/ panther expediting on Easter Day. I talk to him everyday. He seems to really like it & no problems thus far. They are looking for drivers right now out of Ohio. Just have to pass orientation. Hope this helps.
