2022 x15 Cummins new Gen

They are more reliable than the Detroit but harder to work on. It’s always a roll of the dice. How many miles? Did you run an oil analysis? Maintenance records? Probably was bought new during the boom and the new owner has since gone broke so good chance he neglected maintenance but who knows.

 

I've been more impressed with the mx13 in the past year then I've been with all 3 combined In the last 20 years.

 

Other then a fuel pump

It's had zero motor issues so far.
Can't say that about the others.

 

I’m a big fan of the x15. Might see some exhaust manifold leaks but that’s about the extent of the problems I’ve seen.

 

My '19 was flawless. The 2014 just started having injector issues -- but they supposedly have extended the warranty period on the injectors. Apparently a pretty common problem from 20-24.

 

I second this. I ran a T680 next gen day cab with the MX11 and while it was a smaller engine, I had few problems with it aside from the obvious being the lack of power.
