Looking to see what are guys using for the back trailer fenders.
I need something hard that will keep its shape but also allow me to drive equipment on it so it will pop back out.
You can see on picture below where 1 is missing.

Mine are open. I think @ElmerFudpucker built some for one axle on his old trailer. He might have made them detachable on one end - I can't remember. He should be along at some point.Last edited: Nov 10, 2024
Feedman, cke and ElmerFudpucker Thank this. -
I built them for the new trailer too. I can completely remove them if I want. 1/4” pvc sheet cut in half. Then ripped down the middle.
-
I used 3” channel as a riser / spacer then covered it with 3/8” plate. Needed the ability to haul a mini excavator with no issues of it contacting the tires. But has since been very helpful in hauling other equipment….
Feedman, W923, cke and 1 other person Thank this. -
I ran out of fender washers
Feedman, IH9300SBA, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 2 others Thank this. -
Middle picture looks a little wonky but it’s just the angle
Feedman, IH9300SBA, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 2 others Thank this. -
One thing about the pvc is that it will crack if you don’t pull the pin out of one side and let it lay on the tire. Especially in cold weatherFeedman, IH9300SBA, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 2 others Thank this.

And it’s ABS plastic not pvc. Sorry
Feedman, IH9300SBA, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 2 others Thank this. -
THATS what I'm looking for!
Feedman, OLDSKOOLERnWV, cke and 2 others Thank this. -
It’s like 100 bucks for a 4x8 sheet. That will give you 4 fenders. I found my at a local plastics dealer in town.Feedman, IH9300SBA, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 2 others Thank this.
