Big Loads - Post Photos Number 2

Not really a big load, but big enough to need an rgn. Kentucky to Alabama.

 

I didn't have anything close to old boy here with the logs to brag about.

 

that poor ‘ol 1/2 ton is gasping for danm sure

 

8 lug wheels, so 3/4 ton. I pity the trailer more than the truck.

 

I’ve seen a trailer loaded like that. It was sitting on the shoulder just past a big dip in the road, where judging by the scrape marks, all the wheel studs decided to check out at the same time.

 

What year is your truck

 

1987. October 1986 build date, but it’s a glider so I don’t know when it actually was assembled.

 

Ok. I see it has a lubrifiner. That’s why I was wondering.

 

Yup. I put it on. I run a 1 micron Harvard 7502 element in it in conjunction with a Fleetguard LF9009 Stratopore full flow filter.

 

that log load made me think of this but looking at it after that this one looks pretty tame iirc that was almost 20k of logs….I really feel bad for that trailer now
